Essential Duties and Responsibilities Managing Company’s sales in Polymers & Chemicals for the western region Building relationship with existing customers Develop new customers based on the criteria set by the company Over a period of time, assist in building a team under him Assist company management meeting targets and objectives for the region Any other duties as assigned from time to time Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal & teamwork skills Excellent analytical and research skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills Flexibility to travel and adaptable to change
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Leadership potential
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing strongly preferred. An MBA from a recognized institution is an asset
A minimum of 5 years of selling experience, exposure to sales in polymers and/or chemicals is an asset Experience in negotiations and closing sales Exposure to sales planning and inventory management Proficiency and ease in computer use, MS Office Suite (including Excel and Powerpoint) and Email/Internet
